New to this stuff

Hey guys i just bought a 2002 yamaha blaster 200cc 2 stroke. i took it out saturday afternoon and i'm already obsessed. i know i wanna do some mods to it, especially a new exhaust. I also need to work on the rear brakes. I'm just looking for some advice on where to start and what parts are top of the line for it. I'd also like to know about some power or speed mods, as well as tires and stuff. So if you guys could throw some ideas my way i'd appreciate it.

yeah definitely get a pipe, that would be your best mod, i would also recommend reeds, and different size sprockets

yeah i'm looking at some stuff on ebay right now, i see a lot of silencers which i don't know much about, i can't imagine i'd want that. and pipes that cost about 300 bucks. i'm kind of looking to find something in a full exhaust in the mid 100's to 200 dollar range.

are those pretty good pipes? my buddy bought a raptor with some aftermarket pipe on it but i think it was fmi or something like that

i have toomey and it was well worth the money
when you buy from toomey.com you get papers and crap, and you get warrenties on it, plus they sound good =) im very happy with my pipe, but yah pay a little bit more and get a way better pipe

Imo, if you want a good pipe that makes alot of power get a right turn pipe. There a little more money but well worth it

i herd that you wernt suposed ta get a right side pipe unless you were gunna get alot of mods?????...

I put my dyno port on my stock motor and it really woke it up. The more mods you do the more the right turn pipes like it.
