New to the blaster world help please

Installed new clutch 1 week ago today 4th and 5th hear started slipping no grabbing at all it drove fine other than that then it just stopped the motor still turns and it still takes gear but won't start so I got it home pulled the clutch cover everything looked fine I was going to pour the oil out and found 2 metal wires looks kind of like a spring looking metal any ideas? Thanks in advance

sounds like part of the kicker gear spring broke off and possible got chewed up ?

All the springs for the kick start are still intact I had plenty of compression it just wouldn't fire up I also noticed it was really hard to get in and out of gear

On the shift shaft there should be a spring for the shift "claw"

Would that require splitting the case to check it out?

No. It's on the shaft right next to the "claw" (think correct name is "pawl"). Make sure the shaft is "sparkeling clean" before you go pulling it through the case and leave a bunch of dirt in trans.

I honestly have no idea I've had this thing for 3 weeks so it's all new
