Evening all

I have a newbie question

I'm looking at getting a 2+2 aftermarket axle.. I have an 02 quad. So it doesn't have a rear disc brake set up.

If I were to use awk's rear gsxr brake set up, can I use the same carrier? As if I were to switch to the 03+ rear set up I would have to change rear carrier to the newer style

After looking for axles i see that 88-02 are different from 03+.

I don't want to buy a new axle that will be useless in future.

So.. My question is what axle do I buy to work best in future for my brake set up.

i believe all of the aftermarket axles come with a series of spacers that allow use on 88-02 blasters, 03+ blasters and even banshees.
they are all the same diameter axle, and will interchange into any of the carriers,

i know for fact the tusk/g-force axle from rocky mountain atv will fit all years blasters or banshees using the spacers/collars provided for the different solid or floating brake disc spacing, and the larger brake side axle seal on the hydro brake models.

did I also see rocky mountain is the best place for you oversea's bros to order from becuase of duty free shipping ???

if so, buy the tusk adjustable axle with confidence it will fit any blaster/banshee and cable/hydro brake disc combo you'd like to use it for.

the rmatv part # is even the same for blaster and banshee.

and yes, my brakes will work with either the floating or solid disc, but only on 88-02 blaster carriers.

i run my brakes on the tusk axle with floating cable brake disc in an 01 carrier,
i know others use my brakes on banshee axles with the solid hydro disc, it requires 2 spacers to align the caliper with the solid disc, they would be provided with my kit if needed.
