Hi there this here is my uncles blaster
bored 240
2mm hot rod and lots more

and this is my blaster I just picked up now my problem is it will not run unless it's pulled and then it will only have the high rpms no low rpms it dies and bogs, reeds are in great shape no cracks or gaps, new plug, rebuilt 2 months ago to a 66.50 Wiseco piston, great compression 120, it will not fire up with kicking it, TORS is removed completely.. I just don't know it mind boggles me

welcome. are you tring to say the cylinder is bored .040" or is it a 240 kit?

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you need to do a leak down test on yours.

yeah it sounds like you have a air leak somewhere possible the intake boot in front of the carb do a leak down test like blasterdemon suggested

my blaster had a torn base gasket and would idle high but still start and run

2mil Hotrodz? They have stock and 4mil applications only.

carb has been cleaned, leak down test good, carb boot is in good shape, started piddling with it no fire, but the other day i messed with it, it had fire?. put a new coil, CDI box, voltage regulator, on it still nothing, pulled the stator off and cleaned it up it had some dirt built up on it and still nothing.

my uncles blaster has a Vitos 240 bore kit with 4mm rod not 2 my bad, vforce reeds, 6' swingarm he done himself alot more but he won't tell me most of it so "he can still wax me"

if that topend is sucking air anywhere besides throught he carb it won't run right. And the engine life will be greatly shortened.

When I pulled it and it ran I sprayed ether from the baseplate up to the top with ether and it didn't rev up at all now my problem today is no fire

changed stators out with 2 different brand new ones no fire at all
