Whats up guys,
Just bought a spare motor to put in the blaster and was looking for new carb sugguestions to match the new motor. It is stock bore with a +4mm stroker crank and ported and polished head. I also have a full platium pro circuit exhaust I will be putting on it as well as a k&n filter and vforce 3 reeds to go in as well. I am looking for the best aftermarket carb for a set up like this. Any help or suggestions will be great.
Thanks
Dustin

I can afford a few hundred right now but would be willing to save up a little longer if there is something better for a few more dollars.

i would ask on here in the wanted section, go to the for sale section, man you can get some deals, you could get a 34 on here or ebay, i got a full lrd, cfm box 34mm and a k&n for cheap! all in good condition. shop around man you will find what you want, actually talk to elka83 he might have what you want and he is getting rid of stuff for cheap.

get at least a 34mm depending on how you plan on riding you can run an even bigger carb. 35mm pwk go on ebay for like 225-250

on a stock bore i would go anything bigger then a 34 max!
if i were you i would get a keihin pwk airstryker
i would stay away from the cheap mikuinis on ebay.
if you on a budget look at keihin pwk
and i do belive they have a even cheaper on the pj series?
correct me if im wrong

yeah if i would have known better i would have gotten the pwk airstriker, but i have the pj and it is a good carb. and 34 is the max on a stock bore, otherwise its a waste really, unless you do 240 kit soon.

Well I think I found a deal on a 35mm pwk but if you guys think I should only go 34mm let me know. As far as the 240 kit that will probably be a 3-4months at least.

yeah, the 35 will work if you PLAN on the 240 kit in that little of time, but the 34 will work for me does a great job, but i have no inside motor work done...yet. i love upgrades!!

its your choice man, the 34mm pwk would work or the 35 would for that 240 kit you want, bu both would work and i don't think you would be notice that much of a diff between them.

How well do these carbs fit on a stock intake? And by that i Mean whatever you have 28.... 30...34...35... etc

haha, they don't, you need to either buy aftermarket boots, an alumi airbox if you want, the only one you can squeeze on there is a 28mm, and from what i have heard it is not easy!

the front of it to the reeds maybe, the back there is no way possible it will fit a 34mm, if you can get the stock boot to fit you are a f*ckin magician!!

haha ok thanks guys i appreciate the tips! and i was actually just referring to maybe a 28mm I would def buy the aftermarket airbox, probably aluminum if i were to go to 30 or 34..
