ok here goes i just bought another blaster to fix up so i would have something to do its a 2000. when i got it it didnt start but it had spark and compression. i cleaned the carb and i overrode the tors button in the thumb throttle because it was keeping my 01 from starting before i put the new carb on. i knew it was something electrical so i rewired it and that didnt help. i took the flywheel off and the stator was real dirty so i sanded down the inside of the flywheel and the parts of the stator that contact the flywheel. when i did this i got it to fire but it only fired when i held it wide open but it was boggy and cut out instantly after a few seconds. i cleaned the stator again and now every once in a while when im lucky it will start normal and run for a few and then bog and shut off. i think it just needs a new stator what do you guys think?? there is gas in it and the gas is on so dont give me that haha
