new 240 bore kit

I ordered a new vitos 240 bbk and when i got it, it has a hairline fracture inside the back of the exhaust port. Vitos claims on there box and ther paperwork that the have a no warranty policy. Can i run it like this and be ok. Or do i need to send it out to a machine shop

Is it in the steel liner or the cast alum?

Reguardless, your piece should be free from defects in material or workmanship. post some pics.

that's just a casting flaw it looks like. porting would smooth all that out. vito's castings are never very clean

Easy to fix with the Right tools , Steady hand and some time ! .

Edit: Is it just me or is the Crosshatch Not look very Crossed , It looks more like a Swirl ?

get that 240 ported and you will get some good power
