I want to add some nerf bars to my Blaster, but was looking for a cheaper way to make it happen. I was thinking of making some out of steel tubing since I can bend and weld. My question is about the nets. What do you all think about not having the fabric nets and using a steel mesh instead? Thinking of the mesh that is used on utility trailers. I'm new to quads and not really sure why they use nets that wear and can get hung up on stuff anyways. Thanks in advance!!

im in the middle of makiong my own also....im using plate aluminum instead of nets.....gonna cut it out to match the IMS heel guards
