I have been looking for tires for my 2000 Yamaha Blaster but there really isn't much that i have been able to find. Is there any recomandations for tires.

kenda klaws, never ever failed me, and they have been threw hell of abuse. u can also flip the thread pattern around, i've had my kendas for a year and half. and they still have lugs.

Maxxis razr mx i like them and they are cheap they are only 45-55 on rmatv and you can get the premounted on douglas .125's for 150

+1 for kenda klaws. They really are one of the best tires out there still, and they're as cheap as they get too. They have reversible tread, so you can run them one direction for maximum traction in loose stuff, then flip them if you'll be running on hard pack and you'll hook up like crazy. They last forever too, in most cases they can outlast just about every other part on the quad.

The thing about razr mx's, really any mx tire, is that they're only 2 ply. That's usually ok for the mx track, but take an 18" 2 ply tire out in the trails for a day and tell me what condition that tire is in when it's all over. Bet it's not quite so full of air as it started.

My recommendation for the front size is 21x7x10, and for the rear I would recommend 20x11x8.

I'd actually recommend going with a 20x11x9 or 20x11x10, but you'd have to buy new rear wheels. The bigger wheel means less sidewall on the tire, which means more stability and better cornering. It really doesn't cost that much to get wheels with it, usually if you buy from rockymountainatv you can get a set of kenda klaws mounted on some good itp t9 wheels for around $150-175 with free shipping. You can also go with a taller or shorter rear tire if you want. Taller ones (22) add weight and make you taller and more tippy, but they increase your ground clearance and give you a little more top speed with stock gearing. Smaller ones (18) are lighter than 20's, but kill your ground clearance and slow down your top speed with stock gearing. 20 is just a good all-around tire size for a sport quad.

If you went with an 18 inch tire in the rear it would probably be best to stay with the stock size 8 inch wheels. If you have too little sidewall you get a rough ride, and your wheels are more likely to get dinged up.

Well i guess i will have to look into some Kenda Klaws for my quad
