yeasterday my cheain decided to eat my new wear strip on my bent skid plate, so i took the strip off and the chain now rubs the metal, how should i bend this thing back, i nearly ripped the bolts right outta the bench when i tried bending it in the vice, i was thinking aout dremmeling down the metal where it rubs? i need ideas, this skid plate will not go bakc, it won't even hammer out!! i need it by next weekend to run at the badlands

sounds like you need a bigger hammer and a better vise, lol. ours is mounted to a welding table that weights about 300# lol. In all honesty I would try to get it bent back, if you has access to a torch put a little heat to it, then get you another wear strip.

i'm done with the wear strips, i'm just gonna bend it down far enough so it dont hit the metal, the wear strip is another story for another day, lol, all i can say is i'm not gonna screw with those again

mine bent took me my step dad and a sledge hammer we kept it on the quad cause there like imposable to bend off the quad so try that what happened to mine is the back bent down and so the front moved up so if thats what is going on with u then just hold the quad on the side and have ur dad hit it with a sledge hammer thats what we did no more rubing its a terable sound anit it lol
