Recently I put 04 hydros on the back of my 02 blaster I'm having a issue of them randomly wanting to tighten up and start holding a grip when I'm riding or if the bike just sits. Any advice? It worked fine on the 04 could it be the angle I have the piston sitting? It's at a small angle maybe 15 degreese of of strait up and down.

I swapped swing arm and everything over to avoid all that and the swinger was just rebuilt so it was a win win

Do you mean there is a 15 degree angle between the master cylinder and the rod? This will definitely cause the brakes to stick. If this is not the case the system probably just needs a flush/bleed, maybe a caliper cleaning. Hell, I would do the flush regardless because brake fluid is cheap and is a magnet for water and dirt, just remember that it eats paint.

No just the cylinder at a angle. The rod is mainly strait and pedal will still move it just holds pressure

as stated, the pedal to rod alignment is critical to these hydro swaps working, if yours is pushing the rod anything but directly straight up into the master, that could definately be a problem.
did you use the 03+ peg and pedal too, or extend your existing -02 pedal ?

i've also found some of these gsxr masters to have crystallized brake fluid in them, causing the piston to stick, carefully pull the rubber dust boot, remove the c-clip up in there , pull the piston from the master, and a good cleaning of the cylinder, and the metal spiral plunger/spring/rubber boots usually works.

I used the 04 foot peg. Today I have to work on my trails thanks to some yahoo wanting to try and mud there's deep ruts and all my jumps are to dug out to hit without scraping. But that'll you ill clean it out tonight and adjust the cylinder
