Need help figuring out proper jet size.

Well this is what it looks like now. I had to make my own. School is cancelled tomorrow because it is supposed to snow and I really want to drive it in the snow.

Well i cut two gaskets out of some gasket material and then put a thin coat of RTV on both sides of gaskets. Bolted it all together last night and I let it cure all night until about 11:00 this morning. It fired right up and runs way better then it did. I extremely impressed with the piece I made out of a $2.00 cutting board from dollar general.

I still need to do the plug and chop.

What does the fitting on top of the carb intake boot go to? I found one on ebay with a hose and a canister of some sort. Mine is currently just plugged with a bolt.

I just ordered a carb rebuild kit because my float needle is leaking which causes the carb to have a constant drip. I was wondering with my current set up, would it hurt in any way to go back to the stock main jet since it comes in the rebuild kit. Right now only difference from stock is the exhaust, no lid on air box, and v force reeds. I'm only asking this because I'm used to 4 stroke engines and this thing seems to smoke alot. I was wondering if it was to rich without the cylinder being bored or are 2 strokes supposed to smoke a lot and I just need to get used to it.

A #230 stock main jet will be too small if you have the lid off the airbox!

What main is in there now?

2 strokes will smoke some, some more than others depending on what oil is being used.
