well last night was messing around in the snow and pulled into the garage on the blasty and my headlight flickered and flickered then shutoff and wouldnt work. took the front off and checked it out dont see any bad connections and bulb looks ok. any other things that could cause this??? bike starts and runs fine??? thanks might try a new bulb for the hellof it do they sell them at auto parts stores??

bulb checked out good sumone said theres an inline fuse??? anyone know where it is?

maybe try and ground just the light .. i had to do that with mine but when i turned on the light it would kill the motor but worth a try.

but noone knows if there is a fuse inline or anywhere for the headlight? im gonna recheck all connections and try stuff

anybody need my light rite now i checked all connections and do not see anything out of place??? anyone know wat is on the headlight circuit???

well checked it over and cant see anything out of the ordinary. but eerything seems to be on the same circuit and grounds so i cant see any being a problem. im gonna buy a new bulb for the hel of it and see but i had it tested and checked out.

yea... anyone know how much they r i thought maybe i could get it at a auto parts store but nope... gotta go to my cycles store.

dude did you get your headlight to work? mine is doing the same thing. i was out and deff. needed the light and it would work for a little then go out then come back on when ever it felt like it. the tail light stayed on the hole time though. its weird. did you figure out the problem?

hey i just fixed mine. i took apart all the connections and dermal wire wheel cleaned them and sprayed them all down with electric motor cleaner. the damn thing was still acting up. come on for a little and then went off. grind-ed a clean surface for the ground on the voltage regulator. then i took the socket out and dissected it. i pushed the center in on an angle with a screwdriver and then removed the center of the socket. S.O.B there it was! a crusty ass ground wire on the inside of the socket. cleaned it up real nice and for the fun of it i colored the light bulb with a blue sharpie. lol!! im sure it will only last for 10 minutes till the color burns off. but who cares i fixed the prob. hopefully this will help. oh yeah you might want to make sure the inner socket goes in the same way you take it out or else the contacts will be switched and your low beam will be on when the switch says hi and vise versa.
