need Carburetor help!

gas is pouring out of my carburetor! why?
if the fuel weiner is turned on the gas comes out of bottom of carburetor. #12 hose on the yamaha carb schematic.
i tore it apart and cleaned it (#5 on schematic) because the needle wasn't rising up and down easily. checked it before i put it back together to see if the float and needle were raising and lowering easily and it seemed fine. fired her up and it starts pouring gas again! X( is the needle still sticking? :-/ please help before i lose my mind. ~Jeremy~

the float or float needle is sticking or you knocked it out of adjustment

check the float needle seat, if something gets stuck in there it will hold the needle open allowing the gas to pour out

ok so i just got out there and fired her up and took her around the yard with the gas off for a second and then turned it back on and now it's not pouring out of the carburetor. she is still not wanting to idle, but she pulls through each gear fine with no power loss. why oh why was that gas pouring out?
