so the aluminum rims on my car were trashed, to the point steel wool, and mothers did nothing, and a cloth polishing wheel with billit polish did nothing... so i taped them up and painted them... what do you think??..keep in mine they look good in person, but the finish is trashed in person, they were hazy and cloudy..

the black i used it VHT epoxy paint, satin black, no prime neded, holds up to dirt, rust, and what not, its pretty much the same stuff struts and springs are painted with from the factory

01.. i thought the same thing, but i just giggled to my self lol..

true bob... not worth it for rims that came on a $1300 car.. now if i went out and paid 600+ on rims than it would be a diff story, i had polishing big objects, i think thats why i bought gun metal grey motegi's for my old eclipse... only thing to polish was the spline drive lig nuts and the 'fake' rivits around the lip

haahha i had to do it, it was just there waiting get a laugh, i thought maybe i was just imature or sumthing, but i guess im not the only one who thought it.....lol

Hahahahha! Most people to get nervous whne you mentin rattle can, but I get paid to play woth spray paint at work, so I think I'm pretty good with a spray can, .. The paint I used (vht epoxy paint) lays out so nice, the only flaws you see in it are from pits an dings in the rims, only prep done was washed the wheels sunday, an went over them with 00 steel wool befor painting them. .. I got to clean them up yet, some glue from the duct tappe stuck to the rims, an I going to round off the points on the spokes where they meet the lip of the rim

they look way better now, but whats the point, you'll trade them for some other project next week
