your main jet is WAY too small... i have the fmf pipe and k&n filter and my jetting is dialed in perfect with a 290 main... you have vforce 3 reeds so you should have a 290-310 main...

ithought it was fine the plug was a tan collar and what difference in power would the 290 make

x3 , I have the FMF and No airbox , I'm running a 290 main as well . stock jet is a 230 , and the FMF is a mid range performance pipe , you are probably running right on the brink of being too lean , put in a 280 at least and recheck your plug .

i have a 270 i might stick in just to see if it does better runs fine with 250 but maybe to small if yall guys are running 270/290

If your plug chops say its good, then no need to change anything just because someone elses uses a bigger jet. All quads are not the same. If you're unsure, then by all means do another full plug chop and check.
