so i bought this pipe off a buddy and hated it from day one. had NO powerband feeling anymore, im anal about jetting and could not find a jetting setup i was happy with with this pipe. not one thing i liked about it. after trading my pro circut pipe with with the pink blaster and keeping the fatty on the 240 i was hoping to find a deal on another pipe and leave the paul turner lay to rot with the stock pipes.....

this spring i started messing with the machines little by little and decided to sell the red n black 240 and to keep the fatty and let the paul turner go with it.

well i put the PT on the 240 machine and before i even started the jetting i knew i misjudged the PT turns out its just garbage on mostly stock/stock bore machines. on the 240 even with the jetting being way off (jetted for vf3/fatty pipe but using boyesen pro series /paul turner) this thing seems way more evil than it ever did with the fatty and vf3's.....

i think this pipe should be advertised for big bores.... it sucks on stock bore machines but seems to be a reasonable upgrade for a big bore.

if you have the cash there are definatly much better pipes out there but theres no doubt its a big step up from a fmf or pro circut setup on a big bore.

The problem with the paul turner pipes, at least what ive heard, is that they are very peaky and have a smaller powerband than most pipes. Also i beleive their best power comes out when your high in the revs. Up above half rev, i beleive the paul turner pipes have great power but they seem to fall off quick. Somee other good big bore options are the dynoport and cpi pipes. CPI does make a stand alonr pipe for the big bore and another for the stock bore i believe so watch out.

outlaw, it works absolute wonders with my fire breather kit i have the high rev and it just slams in hard and keeps pulling, with the high rev, as expected it is a topend pipe so bottom and mid is not so much, ps my jetting was way off too can wait to put it together again
