My Blaster is idleing higher then I'd like.

Hi,
I just took my carb off because it was leaking gas out the over flow. I got it back together but it idles higher. Just wonder what i should to because I HATE messing with the carb.

If it still has the TORS, take the seat off and adjust the big flat head screw on top of the carb. If that doesn't help, make sure the throttle cable is routed correctly.

no TORS, removed that long ago, ill will try the throttle cabble, thanks. btw it is a completly stock 02

I know of the cable is not routed right, the cable can pull on the slide a little keeping you from having a low idle

Have you got the top screwed down tight and is the carb fitting into the boot ok and tightned up.?

How did you stop it leaking, did you adjust the float level?

prblem sloved, unscrewed the cap, pulled it up 1/4" and put it back on. fired it up and idles like normal, thanks guys!!!

and no i just blew it out with my air compresser. works every time, i knew that there was just drit in the carb cuz i ran it right out of gas by accident.

Sounds like your needle wasn't seated in the jet.
