my blaster is acting up AGAIN!!!!!

ok so i am runing a 162 main jet on my 28mm carb and it is recomended that i use a 148 jet, and i am still running lean when i ride hard, but when it idols it runs rich.i think its an air leak but i couldnt find one by spraying starting fluid by the reeds,carb,airboot, really everywhere and then i tried flexing it and spraying again, still nothing.so i really dont know what is going on there?




also when i am giving it full throttle in 5/6th gear it acts up like its not getting any gas like it is booging out or somithing but only in those top gears

i dont know, not enouph gas, bad reeds, bad carb?


help this is getting pretty gay!!

You could have tightened your reeds wrong. Letting air out. Or you could be running sh*tty gas, or tors? Is your tors removed?

What about the pilot and needle, what you have there? How cold is it?
162 doesn't sound to large to me, 148 sounds small.
We ran a 160 in my sons 90 with a 28mm.

If you dont tighten the bolts equally it will create air lose-age.

Kind of like tightening the allen bolts on bike handlebars, just different side-affects.

smaller pilot jet and larger main jet...
if its not an air leak (but i would imagine that an air leak would be worse at idle)
