I would like suggestions on a bike for my nephew. 14, average to big sized kid. I’m aware of Yammie TTR models. His mother will probably be looking at used.

What kind of riding experience does he have.ttr are good trail bikes,crf230 Also. Great bikes to learn on. Seat hieght is not as high as the mx bikes.suspention could us some work compared to mx.was in British Columbia riding in the mountains.went from the yz250f to the 230 one day.thing. went everywhere the 250 and 450 went.supposed to be very dependable bikes both of them.low maintenance also.

Depending on his size, definitely look at a CRF150R.
They're small enough that you won't break all your bones if you crash, but powerful enough that they can grow into.

If not, definitely look into an older trials bike.
I wish I would've gotten into riding at a younger age, especially trials.
It's fundamental riding, but you can also learn to do some crazy sh*t on a trials bike.
Toni Bou is one of my favorite trials riders at the moment.
