i thought when you said "bird killer" that maybe it was one of them mossberg turkey guns, and no it's not camo, it will say right on the barrel or reciever what size shell it shoots, 2 3/4" ,3" or 3 1/2"
but that looks, to me, to be some kinda police sawed off riot gun ???
nice gun but i'll have to pass, i'm lookin for a camo'd turkey gun

That's a 20" riot barrel. The choked barrel is interchangable but if it's not included is expensive. The 500 shoots 3" only. If you want the 3 1/2" Awk, you need to look for a mossberg 835. The 835 was the camo one too sweet shotguns...

I don't think it's legal to do what you're doing BTW. You have to have a firearms license to ship and receive weapons through the mail. I'm not what class it takes to ship a shotgun but you might want to look into that before you break federal firearm laws by doing something innocent like trying to sell a used shotgun on a website.

Why do need a gun to hunt wild Turkeys?around my house the turkeys stalk you.

DMM 601.11.2.
Unloaded rifles and shotguns may be mailed if the mailer fully complies with the Gun Control Act of 1968 (Public Law 90—618) and
18 U.S.C. 921. The mailer may be required to establish, by opening the parcel or by written certification, that the gun is unloaded and not excluded from mailing because of the restrictions in 432.1b and c.

I have mailed shotguns and rifles threw UPS and FEDX with never a problem. Handguns are a diferant matter i have been told.

plus i'm a semi kind of dude, sure miss my remintgton 1187 turkey special, i'll save all my pumping for other activities, but woulda settled for a camo turkey pump for that price

mmajay, thank you for the correction. Now I know!

I personally like the pump shotguns for my type of activities. I don't want a semi to jam because you know it'll only do it at the worst possible time.

I agree...nothing worse than a jammed auto while your prize trots away!

i've had 2 semis, both remingtons, the 1187 turkey special, and my first one an old, used 1100, and have shot way more than my share of shells and game with both, with never a jam, except when shooting dove loads out of the 1187, which says right on it..."not for light loads"
so semi's for me, for life,
