Heyy guys i have a 1990 blaster i just got it borred out to 68 mm so its the last life on the stock sleeve and im getttin it ported and polished in afew days everything else is stock exept for the exaust ita fmf powercore silencer i was wondering if there were any not to expensive mods to do to my blaster for more speed or power i ride in alot of dunes but i also ride in a bit of mud to and some trail i pretty much ride werever jst depends on my mod butt thanks for te help in advance
 
Dont waste your money on getting a bore on its last legs ported.

Get a good pipe and jet to suit, a +4 timing advance will give you some more low down power, well not power but it will move it to come on earlier on the pipe.

If you dont do deep water, remove the air box lid, but you must increase the main jet by 2 sizes, plug chopping to confirm.

Premixing at 25:1 rather than 32:1 will give you a little more, but then again you must increase the main by 1 size the compensate for the diminished fuel in the mix, again you must plug chop.
 
X-2 on porting worn out cyl. Best bet right now would be DIY porting. See sticky in engine section. Raise ex about 1mm (3/64") widen a touch, blend corners and champher it well. You have a perfect cyl to experiment with.

Is it full exhaust or just silencer?
 
reeds and no lid better exhause only other thing is to split the cases and put in a +3 crank for 400 or more. but you clearly dont want that so I wouldent sudjest it untill it breaks down. hope that helped
