I have posted about this already but my son now has the funds and I need help.
My choice is Vito's 240cc kit and nothing else or Wisco 68mm piston, port and polish and a carb. The bike has a pipe and full suspension I just need it to move a bit quicker. We have around $700 and need to ship to Ireland aswell so whatever help or advice is good.

If you have any other way I can go with this please say. Thanks

Peter

get the porting done to the cylinder. It will run like a completely different machine. Add a bigger carb to it and it'll haul

What about the bigger piston will that make a better job or just leave it standard. Any sugestion on what size carb and make please.

Will a KN make a difference aswell to the complete set up

only go as big on the piston as you need to. Boring out your cylinder will not give you any noticeable power and only wears out your sleeve faster. I would look for a 30-33mm keihin carb. An aftermarket airfilter will also help. So that would be another good investment for your blaster

With all those changes what do you think the power would be. The Vito's kit say's 32bhp and the bike standard is 16bhp I think.

Is there any of the companies on here offering all these parts for sale or would I be better dealing on ebay.

Peter

with a properly built 200cc motor you should be around 30hp. The vito's 240 kit claim's 32hp but there is no way you'll get that by just bolting it on. They need to be ported. There are alot of casting flaws in them, not to mention, the cast piston that they come with is junk. There known to crack and break at the piston skirt. There was someone on here offering the vito's 240 kit for around $500. You could look in the advertising thread and see if there still offered

What you have said does sound like the best way to go and is cheaper then the 240cc kit. Thanks.

kennedy power sells small bore kits,......... its like $500 and will give ya bout 32hp..... widlcard, flotek, and kennedy all do great work! what kind of pipe do you have?

Power core 2 pipe. Elka shocks all round, extended swing arm and a arms. It is a good bike to go it's just my son is alot bigger then the guy's he races against and I just want him to be a little more compeditive. I also want the bike to be relieable.

thats fmf right sell it on ebay youll get 100 easy then buy a lrd toomey sheare etc and you gain a couple hp the fmf isnt the greatest for the blaster but it is better than stock

and you say you need more speed get a 14 tooth front sprocket but if hes mx racing drop down maybe to a 12 or leave ot stock and go to around a 42 in the back for more lowend grunt and to boost up yur mid do a +4 timing mod and as stroker said get it ported

OK recommend some shops to go look at these parts. I would love to support the sponser if possible but there shop site's don't work. I need prices. I will get the porting done in Ireland as the cost of sending parts to and getting them back from the USA is to high. Can any of the sponsers help here. Small bore kit, carb and so on.
