I was thinkin about getting rid of that plastic peice of crap and putting a peice of metal there? any opinions?

I just took mine off, i didnt think they did anything in the 1st place. But if ya wanted to, you could cut and bend a piece o sheet metal and drill some holes for the bolts. Shoulnt take too long...maybe
Yeah, the only reason why I've kept mine is because I don't want to get my leg caught up in a moving wheel.
i just like handgaurds for the looks. they havent helped me with sh*t all. only thing would be the ones on my dads muddin yammy that help ya from branches.
