so i was lookin at real street drags vids and i found one im in..

at 13:31 you will see a red 2 door cavaller spotted out 6-7 lenghts from the start line... and ared shadow at ther line.. if ya loky you wil lsee front mount intercooler hanging outta the front bumper... i took him by 8-10 at the top end... that shadow was the best launchin fwd iv ever had .. consistant 1.9s on regular street tires with a stick...

2.5 turbo, 2.5 inch exhaust no cat or muffler, conquest front mount, 1st gen talon blow off valve, manual boost controler set at 14 psi

shadow was a$600 beater lol... stock is 11 psi.. so i was 3 over stock... 2.5 sohc 8 valve... they dont sound as wild as a turbo dsm or honda does... car ran consistant 14.5s for under $800

well no complaints there bud!!!! thats great. i have a 2003 SAAB ARC, 2.0T with 16lbs of boost in it...just about only thing under the hood thats stock anymore are the hydro arms that keep the hood from falling on your head when your turning wrenches on it! ive owned if for about 6 yrs and for some reason keep putting money into it just to go faster....wonder what it is with guys and the need to be faster then all there freinds??? LMAO!

fastest turbo dodge i built was a 89 daytona cs 2.2 bottom end, 2.5 top end, shelby front mount, 2.5 turbo back out teh side, home made dual stage 12 low 22 high, rfl, hard pipes, +20 injectors. map bleed, 13.6 @ 106....



fastest trubo car iv had was a94 talkon tsi awd 5 speed, short throw ported big 16g 272 cams, 3 inch catless turbo back, 2600 clutch, 50/50 center diff, 4 bolt rear..

i love old school talons...my buddy matt had one until he got in a fight with a high tension fence at over 100+....racing seat kept him together, tension fence wasnt nearly as nice to the bird...that was a sobering day man sh*t happens fast. i guess we all know that now but looking back coulda been alot different

yeah i hear ya man... i usedto do alot of street racing back wqhen.... got 2 kids so i got smart....

last street race i ever did with in the talon against a new shelby gt500.... on a unknown road.. lanched HARD pulled 4-5 cars on him outta the hole.... top end i got him by 3... than ran outta road!! 90 degree turn.. with a gravel parkin lot and a water tower in front of me... i opted for the gravel.. havent raced on the street since
