Main jet/ jetting

Hey guys so my old stock exhaust cracked in half so I'm going to be buying a Dmc alien pipe because I obv need a new exhaust and it's just my preference and it's the exhaust I wanna use I also have boyessen power reed petals and I wanted to know what main jet I should use with the new exhaust so once I get my exhaust I know what jet i should use thank you !

Is everything else completely stock? Like filter, lids on, still oil injection, never bored

Get a 310,300,290,280. Plug chop them, and you might have to richen he needle. The DMC likes more fuel on the needle.

Yes everything else is stock I have my lid on , I did delete my oil injection and never bored

Can you guys show me where to buy these jets ? Like a 300 main ? I have no clue I'm capable of jetting I've obv cleaned my carb and have taken my main out but where do I get a 300 main jets and a needle ? LINKS PLEASE

Start at #280 main jet.

No need for a new needle, just move the clip to the lowest position on the stock one.

You may find that you may have to lift the clip one notch, but I would start as rich as possible.

The clip is below the circular thingy depicted above to needle, it clips in the groove.

The needle is 4.

Number 4 is the needle, when you pull the needle out of the slide which is number 5, your gonna have a little e clip in the slot of the needle there is 5 slots on the needle dropping the clip down richens the needle raising the clip up leans the needle

Yup the clip is the component directly above number 4.

Where can I get a 280 main jet and how will I knoe it will fit

Go to you local bike shop an buy one you need a mikuni hex jet in a 280, they should have a assortment of them
