Ok so i been playing with the jettin srock is 250 main i have a reed spacer lrd adjustable pipe fresh 89 motor an mild port work.. mainly clean up.. 260 sputters up top.. 290 sputtees worse 320 falls on its face... 260 no lid sputters slightly 250 sputters a lil.. 250 no lid runs like a rabbid raccoon!!!!!!! WTF??????

plug chop! and double check ignition. could be a bad ground

I shall do no plug chop! Never have.. my old lt was jetted by seat of the pants feel and sound.... and its still kickin ass in the new owners hand... the motor was built by a good builder everything cleaned and inspected

do as you will, just trying to help you get a bearing on WTF is going on . the plug will tell you what the motor wants

plug chop on that one. got some precision drill bits? it may have been drilled, or it just wants that small of a jet?

Wasnt drilled. Was right out of a jet box. I fully understand every machine is differant but its just wierd my 88 witj.stock pipe.was.mint on a 270 main in winter

Can't say it enough.....try messin with the needle ! Keep the 250 main as long as is still has the "dark mocha color".

Well.dark chocolate color was still breaking up took lid off amd now its clear as can be revs fast and.clean with.no.hesitation no stumble no sputter no zingy
