Hey all,
My son and I are new to Blasters, just picked up a pair a few weeks ago. We were out riding yesterday, and I noticed that my low oil light would come on from time to time, but the tank was half full. I am terrified of blowing up (another) motor. I plan on ordering a block off kit and installing, in the next couple of weeks.
-Is there a quick, DIY way to bypass?
-Should I wait to ride it?
Thanks in advance, Mike.

no block kit needed just use the pump to block off the hole and plug the carb and boom your done. thats how mine was done and still goint strong on its 7th year
oh yeah and remove the yellow gear inside of clutch cover

never rely on an idiot light, always visually check you have at least a 1/2 tank of oil, keep it full before every ride for best results, a tank full of oil will last multiple tanks of fuel.......

cover idiot light with black tape and fa-get-about it !!!! LOL

After some research, I have a better understanding of this procedure.

Is is ok to just leave the gear in the clutch side? Seems like a a bit of a pain to pull it, but I will if important. Thanks again!

I took mine out the day I got my Blaster, never know when that thing is gonna mess up and ruin stuff. I like doing my own mixing anyway just so I always know.
