guys i lost my blasty key lol i know how to start it with out it ! bt is there any way to get a new key without buying a whole new igntion >? i think ill just put a switch ! lol

I've had this happen before, all I did was wire through the key cylinder, and remove it all together, and just put a simple on/off switch to replace it. Sounds shotty, but unless you leave your Blaster in a parking lot or in public somewhere, it doesn't matter. =P

that's what i did to 2 of my older machines, but I've never seen a blaster with a key before. =/ mine just has a hex key you turn on/off.
But talk to Yamaha about getting a new key first, they're really sticky about who they give keys to, but you may have a chance.

take off the hood, look at which wires come from the ignition and unplug them, that's all you have to do to hot wire it
o i have the too wires that come from the ignition all you do is plug them together when you want it to cut off lol
yamaha local dealer told me take ur ignition to them and they will make a key for you mine said it was $7 for a key
Sick. Now I'm going to get some lost keys back.
I didn't know they would just make you a new one like that. =D
