Losing Gas

I was riding today and noticed gas coming out of the overflow. It wont stop coming out. It still runs but boggs a little. Carb need cleaned??

yeah i would say clean the carb ..

might have got bobbled,just take the carb out and check the floats sideways and tilt the carb till the the floats just go back and forth and then measure with a metric ruler till the carb comes up to 20mm or 22mm and readjust as needed with that metal tab for the floats>>Need more info just mail me at, "COMMON"!!!!!

i got the same problem!! i got a brandnew carb and it ran great for like an hour of use and now it boggs and dies, an over flows as soon as i turn on the gas..should i return the carb? its a keihin 34mm.

quit thread jackin, and try cleaning it like metioned above like 3 times already.

As a quick fix, you could just try tapping on the bowl of the carb w/ something...

It fixes it sometimes... But, it sounds like the floats are sticking.

i dont go on the net all day and post sh*t so idk what 'thread jackin" is so my bad. i was jus makin a comment, the floats on mine are fully stuck an tappin it doest help. i gota drop the bowl and check them like other ppl said on this post. so is it 'thread jackin' cuz i did this comment too?haha

Thread jackin is when you jump on someone elses thread & start asking your own questions...

Although, theres really no sense in having 2 posts w/ the same exact question..

A carb is a carb, your floats are sticking.. Pull the bowl & clean it out real good.

Pulling the whole carb out and apart is easier to get a good cleaning, just put everything back were it came from.
