Looking for a blaster!

I owned a really nice blaster when I was 12 and eventually sold it for something bigger and faster. I recently bought a 400ex and did a lot of work on it myself realizing its a lot of fun!

Now I want to start a blaster project. I have searched craigslist high and low for a cheap blaster but it seams they are going for way more than when I bought mine. Mine was a 1999 and in excellent condition -only needed carb work and I paid $650

Any suggestions as to where I could find a blaster around that price? thanks

Blasters are harder to find by me cheapest i see is around $800 and thats for a 99. I found a 96 for $250 and jumped on it. plastics are ugly but solid quad overall. Heard it run for the first time today! You just gotta find the right deal at the right time. What area are you in? maybe I can poke around on here and find one near you

Thats a good deal! Im about an hour from Albany NY, Utica NY and Oneonta NY. All around the same distance. Appreciate the help!
