hi, im looking at a 2006 blaster for 1550 to buy as my first atv. first off, is that a good price for it? are there any known problems for the 06 models that happen alot. would this be a good atv with the upgrades it has?
it has these upgrades:
2006 blaster Blue
outerware
k and n air filter
v-force 3 reeds
reed spacer
jetted carb to match accessories
wiseco piston and rings
full toomey chrome exhauast
40t and a 44t rear sprocket
oil injection block off kit

Sounds like a pretty good deal. The oil injection is already blocked off, so you won't have to worry about that failing. I'd get it for a first quad.

it will do a around 80, well mine will,im 205, lol, but yeah for 1550 for an 06, yeah thats a good deal, if it hasn't already get rid of the tors, it is nothing but a problem, if you get it, the tors eliminator kit for like 10 on ebay, make sure you check it out, chain bearings see how the gears shift, listen for any knocks. let us know

I say good deal for $1500.00 blasters have been the same for 20 years and I cant think of one major problem that people have had with them besides the oil pump. but you have it blocked off already so your good to go.

there are some differences with newer models. there are all round disk breaks on the 06. has wiesco piston which is good because i busted 2 oem pistons, chnged to wiesco and blocked of oil pump. only prob i have had is break pads and rear axle bearings. but things do wear out. good buy i say.

That's a pretty good deal but if your just starting out I wouldn't get one with a bunch of aftermarket sh*t on it because usually, not always, but usually that's an indicator that it might have been ridden hard.

yo 2smoker 85 your blaster isnt hiting no 80mph top speeed is around like 60 i though stock?
