haha ^ its a 3" body lift, i was gonna go higher with a torsion twist and extended shackles but i like it how it is
plus if i put 33's on its a slug on the highway trying to pass

Body lifts are real bad for vehicles. You should get coil spring spaces they are like $30. And it is just like a real lift because it lifts the suspension.

thats not a ttb front end its a ifs, not much you can do with it unless you want to spend 2000 on a trailmaster suspension kit that only drops suspension parts 4". i can crank up the torsion bars and extend the shackles on the back for another 2' of lift but then those tires start to look small.

thanks freek.
i was gonna go a little higher, but then the tires would start to look small and id have to run 33's which will make this thing a slug on the highway.
i got the whole shifter problem figured out to.
i have a brush guard for the front that im going to have to customize to put on now that its lifted.

Looks good man. I've been seriously thinking about going with a 3" body lift on my dakota lately. The kit is not expensive at all, $350, and it comes with everything, but the installation is what I'm worried about. I've never tackled anything like that before and if I go to the "pro's", there gonna charge me an arm and a leg :(

I have a 98 gmc sierra I bought a body lift for awhile back but currently looking for some 33's to put on with the lift. Looks good though.

Thats what i was worried about to.
but i figured itd take me 2 full days, it took me a half a day so that was good.
the local shops wont tackle something like this, but this one place would called speedtech.
they charge 120 bux an hour and they said 10-12 hours labour.
so thats just stupid.

Now that's just outrageous. I have one place in mind around me that I'm pretty sure would do it, but the problem is, there the ONLY place around me so they can get away with charging insane amounts, and people actually pay it. I might try to tackle this in the springtime, maybe with a friend. I think I can do it. I:I

that looks great man. i've been thinking about doing a 2ish inch body lift on my silverado, its already had the torsion bars cranked a little.
