leakdown tester for 4 bucks

i was getting fed up with trying to find a leakdown tester by this weekend so i made one myself. its not conventional with the rubber hoses but it works just the same. i pulled the gauge off of a little wally world air compressor and the schrader is off of an inner tube and is siconed into the end cap and yes, that is part of a rubber dog toy used as an exhaust plug =)

im gonna put like a flat piece of steel with screw holes over it and tighten it down

if for any reason it doesnt work freeze plugs are cheap

just use ur og flange and a soup can lid cut to fit for backing with a piece of innertube or even a plastic bag will work to seal the exhaust.

go to the local auto store and get a rubber freeze plug there only like 2 buxs. then you dont have to fab up anything to hold your plug in.
