btw..looks like a pretty clean swap, now onto some upgraded suspension and brakes to control all that power !!!
anything other than the stiff ass stock blaster shocks,
works performance fronts and a 400ex rear would be a good basic start
and a + swingarm wouldn't hurt on that thing either

There is a link in my sig to my build. The 400ex or LTZ rear shocks are a big improvement.
I am still running Blaster shocks in the front (they are not on the ground much!) and 3-4psi in the front tires.
I found a 2" swing arm extension worked good for me. Still wheelies on command but better control.
My son has a 4" extended swinger and it spins too much for me.
I like using wheelies to get over deadfalls and rocks even on slippery terrain.
My 2003 motor is shorter than the 2002 and earlier.
I was having kickstarter problems fitting the earlier motor in the frame.
Your's is a mid 90s? Nice looking fit! How did you do it?
yeah sold the motor out of it to day and i will take pics of the exhaust and every thing tomorrow and yes its a mid 90s motor. i had to make an extenshion for the exhaust to bolt on to the head and use the ktm pipe.. and kick start it ground the top off the kickstart and heated the frame up with oxy acetylene and shaped the frame so the kick start will work. the quad is a rocket and handles really well with the suspension that is on.. wheelies are not a problem any more as been on it all week end and i think the wheelies are part of the fun lol..
