KOR rechambered head

What will this do for my bike? Is there anything else involved with it?

run a couple heat cycles and retorque the head nuts then compression test it, the psi. will determine what octane should be used to deter detonation.
generally....... 150-ish psi. can be run on 89-91, 165-ish requires 93 octane and anything 180-ish may require 100+ race fuel.
you'll need to listen for and do plug chops to recognize what detonation does to a plug, usually small silver specs on the plug, thats piece of your aluminum piston being worn away by the detonation, cure it soon or break out the wallet.

IMO, if you run only 93 octane, you'll be just fine

I don't have one. I'm really interested if just this modification alone will give anymore power or such. Or is it best to do it with a port job?

My head was moded the the same time my cylinder was ported. Combined its a smooth power delivery that pulls cracracrazy hard. Yes it leaves you studdering.

From what I've gathered over talking with others, a head mod will Bring power on down in the lows. Its definitely a good affordable way to increase power.

So your just talking about the head getting rechambered? This provides more bottom end power? I may be very interested now.

Yes it will increase bottom end power. The best thing you can do, is talk to the man who will be doing it for you, tell him what you want, and he will tell you how to get to that point.

I'm just a satisfied customer :)

i got my head cut from KOR i also got the porting done as well very worth the money give him a call he had no problem answering all my questions about my engine mods if i were you i would save up and get the porting work done as well probably the best thing you could do to get the power out of the motor
