Kick start wont work have to pop start help????

HI guys been away from the quad world awhile now looking to get back into it looking @ buying a blaster bored 20 over w high compression piston built motor havent talked to the guy yet left a message but he says u have 2 pop start it to get it to run but apparently runs great now he says he thinks it wont kick start because the carb is flooding up now i know i don know to much bout carbs but i doubt thats the reason why it wont kick start don kno if the kicker is seizes or anything or if its electrical jus lookin for insight thanx

I would compression test it, I've seen bikes with blown top ends that will only start if you "pop" start them.

If it wont kickstart it could be because of the spring on the kick starter gear may be off or the kickstarter gear is broken i would say inspect it 100% before buying if its not the kickstarter gear located right side clutch case then it seems like theres a bigger problem on your hands.

ok both of those sound like a good answer guy tx me back goin to call him 2maro on my lunch break and actually talk to him see if i can possibly find out whats up

Ask the guy what the compression is and the results of the last leak test.

If it is flooding and he tows it to start it, it screams to me that he has been shirking maintainance.
