Hey guys quick question do I have to use keihin jets in my carb when re jetting or is it universal fitment

Buy genuine keihin jets. Jets aren't universal, they are brand specific.

If you have a mikuni carb, buy genuine mikuni jets.

It's the easiest and safest way.

They are just so expensive and I've only found where I can buy 4 of the same one . Also I'm planning a trip to the mountains to trail ride at like 9,000ft and up and don't even know where to begin

going up in elevation will richen your air/fuel ratio, so your only worries is fouling plugs, not frying your engine.
whats your current elevation your jetted at ?

here's jets on ebay..........

pay for the quantity you want, then message them with what # jets you want, and pay only one shipping fee

rocky mountain atv, jets-r-us and carbparts warehouse also have single jets
same as above, order all you need and pay one shipping fee

Current elevation is around 4,700 ft bought the quad a week ago and I think it could be tuned better also getting ready to do a top end rebuild so I guess carb is irrelevant at this point till I get that done also running a toomey b1 and open air box as well not sure of bore will be boring up to neXT size

Do a plug chop/read at current location. Post pics or description of it. From spot on you would drop two sizes IF you really changing that much elev.
