just got a vitos 240 kit any advice?

i just got a vitos 240 12-port kit on ebay should be in by mid-week seemed like a pretty good deal $425 shipped
any advice or suggestions as to things i should do before or while im building it i already have a +3 stroker crank a 34mm mikuni a fatty pipe and pc2 silencer
any clue as to what kind of power it will make i know people say vitos 32hp claim is over rated but how much

They dont make anywhere near 32hp, but you cant beat 425 bucks for a 240. A good port job would really wake that vito's up. Also a better pipe like an f7 or lrd would help.

I would put a wiseco piston in instead of vitos cuz I hear that the vitos melt easily and flyers if it doesn't put out 32hp why does it say it does here on vitos site?

Because like most performance sites, vito's over rates their products. Take their 5hp piston kit for example. Adds virtually nothing for hp or performance.

never EVER believe claims from the makers of any performance part. the only thing you can trust is a dyno that you are using first hand. even the dyno results that most companies post up are bogus claims to make their product sell better.

honestly, would you be able to sell an item that does nothing for performance if you advertised that it dies nothing for performance?
forged pistons DO NOT give you any more HP over a cast piston. they are only stronger and can handle more RPM/compression. vito's LOVES to claim otherwise.

One of the ways the pull this off is CRANK or FLYWHEEL HP not true wheel
horse power (WHP) you lose power threw the driveline, but i don't know the % for a quad though.

exactly, my truck has about 450 engine horse power and 1000ftlbs of torque, but only puts out close to 400 rwhp and 800 ftlbs

not to high jack but im bout to buy the ct sonic complete kit for 1300-1500 bones they say it makes like 41 is this bogus to ....cause ill be damned if i spend that much for nothing.....if so ill just get the vito....... i also plan on a +3 stroker with the sonic complete kit......let me know something before i waist my money....
