I currently have a .010" oversize hand ported cylinder on top of a relatively old 4 mil long rod bottom end with a tusk HD clutch kit in it. Not really CRAZY but not too bad either for trail riding.

I was blessed enough earlier this month to travel to Goldsboro (go busco go!) and picked up a little late Christmas present. mmajay had a top end he had before he decided to build a 240 motor which was just sitting there collecting dust and he decided to all but give it to me. How could I turn it down?

The specs:

Aggresive trail port for a +3mm stroker by Kennedy Powersports (not my favorite but this one looks not too bad guys) on 67.75mm bore. The bore is in fine shape, I've already honed it to knock down the glaze.

The piston that was provided had a slight issue but, serendipitously, I have a solution to that problem as well. The wiseco piston is marked 67.75mm but I stuck it down into the bore and it had FAR too much clearance so I assumed the bore was wore out until I measured it. I measured the bore as 67.78mm (as close to perfect as I can get it without a fresh bore) and was really confused until I measured the piston. It measures 67.65mm at the widest point on the bottom of the skirt. I think it took some damage (dropped or compressed someway or another).

I had a 67.75mm piston I ordered for another top end which ended up having a BAD taper to it and not able to use a 67.75mm piston (I check it and it is 67.75mm) sitting on the shelf just waiting for an oppotunity.

I order a vito's +3 stroker crank already, now I've got to take my spare bottom end apart and get it ready for the transplant.

nice i just got the +3mm myself and am waiting for my aggressive trail port 240 to get back from ken, it is going to be sick!! its going to rip dude
