jetting

ok i am trying to find out what jet size i should use when i get my v-force cage and reeds and spacer.it looks like i have like an 1/8'' spacer in right now and i have fmf pipe and silencer.i just looked to see what was in it and it has a 290 in it.what size should i go?

if ur only putting on ur reeds and spacers i dont see the need to change ut jetting form where its at. seems like a 290 is plenty.

Yea 290 is a good size. I am running a 250 main with my FMF fatty and K&N intake at 2500 ft.

I have a 300, with Pro Circuit exhaust, K and N, no lid on filter box, reed spacer, at sea level, about 35 deg F.

that "1/8 inch reed spacer" is probably your stock reed cage you see. regardless of what everyone is saying is good, be sure to do a plug chop after you get them installed to be certain you are not running lean. i am betting if the 290 is working good now, you'll have to go up one or 2 sizes, the v-force 3 reeds will flow much more air/fuel than stockers.
