i have a 2000 blaster and i currently run a racing carb and i dont like the way it runs so for the time being i am putting the stock carb back on and im not sure how i need to change the jetting. it has an fmf fatty with a powercore 2 silencer and it is bored .60 over any ideas for what i should start with? and i currently run 60:1 premix any suggestions for what premix i should run?

Your jetting should be about 250-280, if air box lid is off or has holes in it will be on the higher side, more info will help us get you within a jet size- and most of us run 32:1 , some run that dominator at 50:1.

Do you have stock reeds ?

a stock carb, should be 32.5 pilot. main 230, but with a fmf fatty and power core, 260-280 range, with the lid off, some run 290,300. And naturally your air filter plays a role also.

Stock needle is in middle or also known as #3 clip setting.

Reeds will have little or no bearing on jet sizes.

A 32:1 premix is where you should be at, unless you require added protection and peace of mind that 25:1 offers.

Plug chop to confirm jetting.

this is good to know, I was under the impression, when you added in V3, you should go up a jet size ?

Ya i would like to know this as well. I wouldn't think it would need any jets increased in size.

Your the one posting faulty info. You still dont have your info in your sig correct. Keihin doesn't make a 34MM PWK!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats for the PJ series and you dont have a PJ!!!!!! Only post if you know what the hell your talking about, else your just going to mislead someone else in the wrong direction.
