sorry i have so many posts on here for help with my blaster (if you have noticed i posted about 4 different problems in the last week) but i guess thats what the forum is for. everyone is telling me im running my blaster way too lean which im not doubting because i dont know a lot about motors just the basics and i would like to get my quad running well by doing it myself with the help of people on here. so my quad i thought was bored .60 over (which is what the kid told me) is actually bored .20 over because i checked it today. it has an fmf exhaust, 30mm mikuni carb (i dont know which one, i cant find it online), reed spacer, and im not running an air box just a uni pod filter with a velocity tube. when i got the quad the jetting was 250 main and 40 pilot and it would not idle because it was too rich. the kid gave me a 140 main jet and another 40 pilot jet and i put the 140 main jet in and it idles but everyone said it is wayyy too lean. what kind of jetting should i be running?

I am pretty sure a stock Blaster carb which is 26mm comes with a 230 main and a 32.5 pilot. With the mods you have with the stock carb your main should be around 260-280 main since you have a 30mm carb the main should be smaller since it is a bigger carb. Since the 250 is to rich try going down to a 230 and do a plug chop. If you are still to rich try a 220 and work your way down if you are still rich.
As for the pilot jet I am unsure of that.

Dont be sorry for posting alot just like you said that is what the site is for....

so you think i should stay at 140 main jet? the problem is that i do not know exactly what carb it is because i cant find it online. the kid told me its a 30mm mikuni carb and i cant find the same one online. where can i order jets for it from?
