Jetting Question

To each their own if you do or dont want to wear safety gear im not going to preach to you.I dont like to so i dont unless the atv park im at enforces it just how i do it.

Haha sounds about right but im trying to start wearing one i got kids who don't need to see me on the ground with my melon split
 
your plug chop looks lean to me, the ring should be down near where you cut the threads off, not on the tip
and you have to kill the motor while at wot, not after you come to a stop
killing it after you stop allowed all 3 jetting circuts to color the tip,

heres what it should look like, when killed right after clutch pull while still at WOT.....

Ok now is it lean enough to blow my motor up? Or will it be fine.
 
bump it up one or 2 sizes and chop them to see, only the plug can tell you, not us
 
If you shut off the motor after you came to a stop, what you are seeing on the porcelain is the needle and idle circuits added to the main.

You gotta kill as you clutch.
 
I usually buy a couple 4 packs of plugs to have on hand and ngks are cheap.

Try doing a couple plug chops to get the hang of it i do just to have a comparison.

Plugs are cheaper than engine rebuilds.
