So after 2 other deals on my Vintage Honda parts I had for sale fell through...not being able to get small business loans.
I finally got 1/4 of the parts sold after 2 months of dealing with another Dealer for $10,000 . Hes picking up the parts I sorted out at his request this weekend.
STILL...my Bank refused to honor the funds from the other Bank ( Certified Check) till it cleared 7 days later ! Even the Banks don't trust each other !

Its sad that's the way of the world now. Insurance check, bank checks, pretty much anything that is a check is put on hold for a minumum of 5 days at my Bank.

I don't get it either.

they don't even want to cash the checks of their own customers, which can clearly see the $ is in the account,
just had an old hag call the customer to see if he had written me the check ?
I promptly interrupted that call with a nice loud " is this bank policy or do I look like a F'n criminal "
she never answered that, or even made eye contact with me as she forked over the $
and the customer called me while i was standing there to apologize for her, which i made that conversation very public also.

just another reason why i deal with banks as little as possible, do not owe any of them a single red cent,
and never will again.

F banks, wifes a head teller n i still use walmart pay as you go debit card n guess what. Never over draft n no money issues!!! Lol but the whole bank check n certified check thing is bc of the HIGH volume of fakes, real fakes. Not bc they dont trust other banks or ppl. Craigs List is a big part of this certified n cashiers check forging generation.... Cash is King! OR Paypal! only forms of payment i trust IMO
