figured i'd break out a few before, during and after pics, while im waitin for the motor to get done,(audi's powersports, johnstown pa.) top and bottom end, oil block off, tors going as soon as i break it in,
rest of the bike was completely tore down, every nut, bolt and bearing, cleaned, or replaced if needed, plus a "little" cleaning and painting, thats my son helping me sand the frame, as you can see, it was real nasty when i got it, red mud in places i never imagined, packed up under the tank cover, and the bars where packed full of it ????, this was way more work than i thought, but worth it, comments welcome?? do i stand a chance in the "botm" against a full desert race quad,??, is "botm" about how much money you can spend??? how 'bout most dramatic transformation in 2 months time??

soon to come: 400ex rear shock, works up front, toomey pipe, prm heel gaurds, and would luv some hydro's, but the "diy' on here has my rears workin fine now, new rubbers and rims all around,

ps. thanx "blaster forum" for the links to the free manufacturers decals, they were iceing on the cake, and the tech info i got on here was priceless

2 days old and broke the piston skirt, dec. 22 08, notice all the mud, this is how i bought it

upload images to photobucket than hover the mouse over and you should see like a drop down menu, look for the IMG code and copy paste the whole thing into a comment.. and it should post the pic

thanx for the patience with the photo fubar, it was late, i did do the photo bucket thing, thats much simpler, thanx guys

thanx for the comments, glad ya like it, for what i started with, and yeah the stickers are a little too much, i was tryin to hide some of the deep scratches in the plastics, kinda went for the "sponsors mx style" for now, till i can get some plastic renew and a real graghix kit , the left front was actually caved in on the top corner, i had to heat it with the torch and reshape it, and that white is still a little stained orange from that mud that was on it, soft scrubbed and buffer most of it off, spent amost of my $$ on motor parts/labor and swingarm rebuild, and paint, which is just some red metallic spray cans ($9 a can) from "advanced auto", but i couldnt capture the metallic on camera, but it really sparkles in the sun, i am happy with it, but not done by far
thanx guys

ok, i figured someone would have noticed the "dunlop" decals inside the rims???, i put 4 coats of clear over top of them, so they should hold up??
all my buddies like 'em, and my bro wants to do his jeep rims

love that color red man, the funny thing is it is the same paint i got on my plastics, and i got it from advanced auto too, is it duplicolor metal spec?

just to let you know your fly sticker is upside down.. but looks awsome i put more stickers on mine and have some left over dont have anymore room lol. but ill find some

yeah thats "duplicolor metal spec", and for the sticker upside down, i think your talkin 'bout the gray one on the tank, its a "western powersports", but when i turned it that way, instead of "WP", it looked like "JA" << my initials, so i went with it,
oh yeah, it does have dunlops on the back, fronts to come soon, i sure wasnt puttin any junk ass "cheng shin" stickers on, haha
