Is this a common problem *video*

There appears to be play starting to develop in my rear sprocket retainer. Is this common? Anybody know a band aid fix?

any yamaha hubs/splines arent very good on their wheels and sprocket holders, ive replaced hubs on wolverines and warriors several times, plus u putting out soo much power w/ that 400 so thats even more stress on the splines, god luck finding one of those, alot of motorcycle junkyards might have them

Well I put the power on the nut and tightened it up. I also put a generous amount of red locktite on the spines and threads. As of now there's no play. We'll see if it holds up.

it wont hold up like that, ive tried. what i did was put a sh*t load of red loktite on it and then i wraped electrical tape around it and it held for now but for the long haul idk what it will do
