Ive asked this before and got good answers but I want to add a little more to my questions. So I'm going to rejet my carb because I took my air box cover off, and winter is here and the winter air is more dense. I'm getting a 270 main jet (engine is completely stock, just have no air box cover). Is that all I will need? Will I need to do my pilot jet or anything else? I know I should probably do some plug chops but ive never done them before and im not really sure what I should look for. Anything is helpful to me. Thanks.

can someone go into full detail on how to do a plug chop, i know you have to ride ur blaster and get it in high rpm's, do a plug chop.... but i need more info.. please guys, anything is helpful

i would think more towards a 280 jet with the cold factor, as for the pilot, you could need to go up a size.
As for plug chops-
warm the bike up to running temperature on an old plug, shutting it off where u will have a long straight away
put some gloves on so u dont burn the chit outa yourself, and put a new plug in.
Start the bike up and max out the rpm's up all the way to 6th gear, some do 5th, more or less preference.
While at top speed, pull the clutch in and shut the motor off and roll to a stop.
Take the plug out, put the old one back in
ride home and look at the plug
now u can either look at it with/ or without the threads buy hacking them off with a hacksaw. for me it depends on how i am feeling and how many plugs i got.
you want the core to be a nice cardboard colour

thanks.... and yea i kept refreshing my page because i saw you viewing it for 5 minutes and i was thinking "man, whitty must be typing up a full page for me!" hahaha. but thanks. but ummm, i dont have a long straight away that i can get it in 6th gear, could I possibly hold the blasty up with something so the whole rear end is off the ground, and then get up to 6th, pull the clutch and shut off?
well i wouldnt hold ur blaster up on a stand casu the fooling can happen
ur blaster could fall of the stand and crash and total ur bike completly
go out in the country where there is no farm or house and do it on a dirt road
and i have a uni also my dad has a uni and b1 kit with airbox off he runs a 240 in winter
it wont have any load, so imo no, it needs to be on the ground, just get on the road and off it quick lol
yea my dad doesnt let me touch the pavement that divides my driveway from my road with the blasty..... so i guess i cant do plug chops so i shouldnt even rejet should i?

i live on a street thats like a quarter mile long with 18 houses on it, and my backyard is a huge tree filled woods, and behind that is a pretty big field, but i got caught by a cop there, i made a thread about it a while ago, so i dont trust using that again
