This is a bad thing going on.I bet they don't get it fixed till August when they get the relief wells done.They are almost out of letters to name each different method they try which in turn means they have no clue what to do.It's for sure a disaster with no end in sight at the moment.
I here you bro but thats mother nature doing it's best on us.Nothing we can do.This is a far bigger problem and will impact the ocean and coastlines,fish,jobs,etc etc. for awhile to come.Even if it stopped today.But we need to stop helping every damn place out with money and keep it were it needs to be,right here.
We can be first to send aid to any global disaster. What do we do for our own oil spill? Send lawyers and blame. Looks like a big part of the cleanup is volunteers. With this country's resources we can't deal with this? Bet if ya told some Navy Seals they couldn't stop the oil it would'a been done now! Freekin politicians, phsssst!
Think its bad now, just imagine how bad it'll be if a tropical storm or hurricane comes through. Hurricane season started a couple days ago so those retards at bp better get there sh*t together and get it stopped

The best way for them to get it stopped is to run a pipe down to it and pump concrete into it. Concrete will set up in water and plug the leak, I drive a concrete truck so I know it works
When its all said and done , more will have been said than done.
Sounds to me like they need some REAL emergency pipefitters down there in the gulf , not engineers and lawyers . What needs to be done is insert a bag ( a kevlar and rubber combination ) and inflate it at high pressure in the main , then have one of them ROV's weld a dead end cap on that and its a done deal . Damn send me down there I'll plug it myself , way to go BP you created the worlds biggest broken and blowing the world has ever seen ....

I Don't under stand why anything they have done hasn't worked. Like these top hat Why wouldn't something like that work to contain the leak to a more managable level, Like funnel the oil up to the surface. Fricken could even build a dam foundation to set the thing on for the time they dicked around with everything else. Just shaking my head saddly over the hole thing. Should send the Seals in they would get it done!!!!
i understand peoples beef with the gov on this issue but. if you know anything about this stuff you will automaticly know that the only people in the world that can fix it are already there. and the fact that its about a mile under water is what makes it so hard to deal with. i seen one post that said that we put a man on the moon, well its easier to do that than to dive that deep and work with ungodly amounts of pressure and extreamly cold temps. im a certified industrial instrumentation tech and i purposly turned down jobs out on rigs bercause i heard about all the shotty sh*t goin on out there. and if you think its bad well im sorry its only gonna get worst. all the Bs that the last administration had going on with the big oil companies is gonna come to light. so no you caint blame anyone but BP and the other oil field service companies that where there, and no there is no easy buton for this and complaining will not make it go away. we as human beings just have to admit that we as a species finally screwed the pooch and screwed it long and hard. so all the king horses and all the kings men wont be able to put this sh*t back togather again at least not for a long time. and even if they do manage to stop it my states already f*cked up economy is pretty much dead now. all we have left is little lumber and agriculture because in louisiana no seafood eqauls no tourism and no tourism equals no revenue. with that being said get of the governments nuts about this because it aint no special light that they can shine in the night sky to summon a hero to fix this. sorry guys the ocean is pretty much f*cked for a long time and its all cause of our human nature and ability to obtain, consume and destroy our own world.
dude no offence or anything but you obviously dont understand whats going on here.. they wanted to do that and it didnt work.. BP f*cked up big time thier greed is soley to blame for this disaster. a simple shutoff valve or "blowout preventer" would have prevented this situation but no they decided not to worry about safty and just focus on money. im willing to bet that in the end BP files for bankrupcy and the U.S. is stuck cleaning up this sh*t.
