However while my retarded friend was taking my stuff apart without my permission.
He adjusted the carb an now the needle jet is broke the clip is hangs from is broke an the seat is knicked from a screwdriver....

Parts are ordered an on the way bought the carb rebuild kit off eBay due around the 20th or so it says reviews for seller are really good for fast shipping lets hope!

damn dude that sux. well order a rebuild kit and we will help ya along your way if you need. on a side note... you really need to wash your quad better before you work on it. sand in the engine is no good

do you have a leak tester? you need to do a leak test after pulling the carb boot off

Yeah I no I should have washed it all first but I didn't take it apart my roommates cousin did without my permission an I couldn't wash it with it all apart.

An I do have a leak test an I already did it! Held 7 psi for 15 minutes ( how long it took me to try an figure the carb out because the needle jet was jammed into the seat) then I got po'ed an Said f it left an went home to order the parts!

I still say u need to throw an elbow at him! Well ya should of at least cleaned the intake boot and clamp a few small grits will not be good for the cylinder and bearings think tight tolerances!

When you come to awks next year I'll bring my mig set up, a few mounts RTW- we can put on those heelgaurds and double pegs! Bring some primer and paint!

Alright thanks well I'm just waiting for this carb rebuild kit to get here! An ill know if it starts I may drop a little 2 stroke in theere an see if it will start!

I presume that you joke, at least I am hoping that you are.

But there again it will be a good way to clean the crap off the motor, without a carb there is no way to control the air and the motor will rev uncontrollably, vibrate, shake the sand loose and vaccuum it into the inlet.

Yeah I defintally wasn't thinking to much when I put that I wasn't really gonna do I I jus really wanna see if it will start with the new reeds!

Take it from an old fart, yes it will start, yes it will run, yes it will rev like dollars are going out of fashion and yes it will do nothing to improve the life of your motor.

Yeah not my finest hour. I'll jus wait the carb kit will be her on the 20th well tats the estimated delivery so I guess Ill know then it's got compression an spark an is leak free with new reeds an carb rebuilt I have faith it should start!

Have faith, not only start, the little mongrel is gonna fly!

I haven't plug chopped recently but my carb is rejected. I have a 260 main I have a bummed Dg pipe. Oil block off an air box removed at marlylad elevations. An the temps are cooling quite low now. It maybe off I need to chop but that should be close that's what I ha in it when it blew.

Maybe thats why it blew a #260 main.

A #260 main may not be enough with premix, colder weather and no airbox lid.

Premix = 1 size bigger.

Lid off 1 to 2 sizes bigger.

Cold weather 1 to 2 sizes bigger.

DG pipe if I remember works well with a #250 main.

Add them up you could start with a #300 to be on the safe side.

I would be plug chopping a #300 main

It was still quite warm out. I ran it with stock jetting for a while took air box lid off learned about jetting then I raised to a 260 main i did ride with a 250 for a while with no problem. Then upped to a 260. I haven't rode in the cold yet I will plug chop before. Start at a 300 u said tho?

Also I never blew up compression is still fine I broke a Reed that was my problem... Or I hope!
